If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together. 1 Corinthians 12:26 ESV
Elevator Pitch
The Alliance for Creative Outreach (TACO) Serves the lost by creating a welcoming community that unites and equips a network of world-changing Christian content creators across multiple platforms.
Mission Statement
The Alliance for Creative Outreach (TACO) exists to share God’s love with the lost, lonely and disenfranchised people of the world by uniting and equipping a network of passionate Christian content creators on multiple platforms all around the world.
- Who we serve:
- The lost who would never consider going to church, but spend hours on social media
- The unchurched – whether they can’t attend due to illness or work schedules, or have stopped attending because of personal conflicts
- The Christian audience, who are desperate to find entertainment that reflects their values
- Christian content creators, who need support, resources, and training
- What we do:
- Train creators in Biblical leadership principals (2 Timothy 2:15)
- Join with creators whose values and commitment match our own, to support one another through encouragement, creative collaboration, and continuous innovation
- Develop a brand of content that is culturally engaging, welcoming, and God-honoring
- Invite people into a relationship with God
- Create communities to support seekers and believers
- Why we’re different:
- We believe we are meant to serve the Lord with skill. (Exodus 35:30-35, 1 Samuel 16:18, Psalm 33:3) It is not enough to merely “create content” no matter how excellent. Working skillfully means things like understanding our market and the culture of our platform, learning about the technology we’re using, creating a quality product, supporting one another, personal development, and being good leaders of our virtual communities.
- We believe that everyone is uniquely made and given different gifts. (1 Peter 4:10, 1 Corinthians 12:12-26) We work with creator’s individual gifts and styles, different types of content, and different platforms. In this way, we reach people of different backgrounds and interests, too – some who would never watch what we typically think of as “Christian content”.
