INTRODUCTION
TACO Targets allow TACO Team Members to be involved with TACO as an official creator in ways that make sense for their style of content, their availability, and their giftings. Because we involve many different kinds of creators, we actively seek feedback on what types of activities should qualify. We want to have many and varied options. We limit how many TACO Target points can be earned from each activity type per quarter. This is to encourage creators to collaborate with multiple other creators and be involved in different activities.
Completing multiple qualifying activities will earn you TACO Target points. Be sure an activity is listed as a qualifying activity before assuming you can count it towards your TACO Target points. Accumulate points to maintain a sufficient level of involvement as a creator.
How often are TACO TARGET points counted? Quarterly. (Though we may collect point activity information in between, so that it is less work at the end of the quarter.)
How are TACO TARGET points counted? Creators will submit a list of their qualifying activities quarterly to the Creator Liason. The Creator Liason will review and confirm which activities qualified and how many TACO TARGET points were earned.
How many TACO TARGET points are needed? 9 TACO TARGET points are needed quarterly. That is approximately 3 activities per month. You can claim credit for attending the TACO Team Members planning meeting, and participating in the monthly team event. This gives creators plenty of wiggle room for sickness, vacation, or scheduling issues. (Especially if you do not procrastinate!)
What if a creator doesn’t meet the TACO TARGET point count? A creator who falls short on TACO TARGET points will be issued a warning. 3 warnings in any rolling 12 month period will result in losing your TACO Team Member status (but you stay in the Taco-Tribe, of course!).
What if I can’t find TACO TARGET point activities that work for me? Please mention it during the TACO Team Members planning meeting! Your fellow creators can help you brainstorm how to use your skills and gifts, and create collaborative opportunities. They may also know of qualifying activities, such as trainings or events. If that doesn’t work, contact the Creative Director.
