Who we are
The Alliance for Creative Outreach (TACO) Serves the lost by creating a welcoming community that unites and equips a network of world-changing Christian content creators across multiple platforms. This Privacy Policy applies to all TACO properties which includes this website, our various social media channels, Discord, IRL events, and other communications related to the TACO network.
Comments
When visitors leave comments we collect the data shown in the comments form, and may also receive the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string (which some applications use to help detect spam or other malicious activity). Your comment and profile picture are visible to the public. We reserve the right to remove comments which we deem to be inappropriate, or not in the spirit of reasonable discourse.
Media
If you upload images to the TACO network, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site, or complete a form, you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, the website will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, the website will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Who we share your data with
Nobody. We aren’t trying to sell you anything, or to sell your data to anyone. We only use it in the context which you provided it. i.e. If you signed up for a gaming event, we use it to contact you about gaming events.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
Contact information collected for classes, events, and prizes may be kept for business purposes, for as long as TACO network continues to operate.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on taconetwork.org, or have left comments on taconetwork.org, you can request that we remove your comments and/or your account.
If you provided contact information collected for membership, classes, events, or prizes, once the thing it was requested for is completed (or if you withdraw) you can request that we remove your contact information.
You can always request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. Since we are a volunteer organization, please allow at least 30 days for us to process such a request.
Some community offerings may require accounts on certain platforms, or with software providers, in order to provide you with their goods and services. TACO network is not responsible for the data you provide to those vendors. We cannot provide control data which you post to other platforms, vendors, or social media. You should contact support for that entity for assistance.
