Onboarding Steps
TACO volunteers are people who have been officially onboarded and are regularly contributing to TACO as an organization. (Being a content creator is not required.) To be recognized as a TACO volunteer:
- Request to join and be affirmed by existing TACO staff
- Complete volunteer agreement form
- Receive access to internal Discord channels and/or other assets, if appropriate to role
TACO Volunteer Benefits
TACO Volunteers may enjoy the following benefits:
- A listing on the TACO org chart (after consistent participation and board approval)
- Input on some organizational decisions or events
- Early invitations to contribute or collaborate
TACO Volunteer Ongoing Requirements
- Honor the TACO Code of Conduct
- Continue to serve: Be active in your volunteer role, update the board on your progress, and attend meetings when possible.
- Engage with Discord: Be part of the TACO Creator community by posting and responding to posts. If assigned a Discord channel, maintain and engage that channel
- Participate in Organizational Projects such as fundraisers & community events, as able.
- Report “WINS”: We believe in rejoicing with those who rejoice. Share with the TACO Board any meaningful moments, achievements, or milestones from our TACO Creator community. (New believers, going full time, viral content, IRL meetups, etc.)
- Communicate with the Board: Keep us updated on what you’re working on, your needs, your schedule, and what you see as needs in the TACO Creator community.
- Report Concerns: Bring any concerns you observe, or which are reported to you, to a board member
